Radio New Zealand interview with international bestseller Paul Cleave

As I noted yesterday, Christchurch-based crime writer Paul Cleave was interviewed on Radio New Zealand's Nine to Noon show with Kathryn Ryan this morning.

You can listen to the interesting 17-minute interview HERE.

Cleave talks about: the real Christchurch, compared to how he conveys it in his books; how another crime writer passed out while reading THE CLEANER; his thoughts on why he's so popular in Germany, but still a little overlooked in New Zealand; the long road and struggles he had before first getting published (including being ripped off by a publishing consultant - and only finding out due to an investigative feature article years later); a bit about his next novels; and many other interesting tidbits, viewpoints, and anecdotes.
